Rik Emmett performing "Fantasy Serenade" at Poor David's Pub in Dallas, TX. The song was performed along with "Midsummer's Daydream", which he dedicated to YouTube user MrDanielHalen -- fun stuff!

My Yukon rental cabin built by you're truly

I just put together a video of my Yukon cabin I rent out to weary travelers. My brother Shaun and I built it a few years ago after we cleared some of the trees from our front field and scribed them into a building the same summer. Lots of fun and lots of work and it sure is nice to hang out in there in the summer and winter and play music with friends. Enjoy the video. Cheers

Cooped up in the house way too long.

It's freezing cold up here and we've been cooped up way too long this Christmas. It's been - 30 and colder for the past two weeks and we want to get out skiing and snowshoeing but can't bear the cold. Too bad our weather forecast comes from interior BC and not from Yukon at all. It could be worse. A couple of years ago it was -52!!!
